Emily Wong is a textile and surface pattern designer who combines a graphic sensibility with her hand-painted work.

She draws inspiration from nature and from the rich visual history of ethnic fabrics. Color is the spark to her process, which begins with painting in watercolor, gouache, and ink.

Emily worked as a graphic and web designer in Philadelphia, before receiving an Master of Science in Textile Design. She then designed for home and fashion companies in San Francisco before starting her own studio. She works with clients in home interiors and fashion, as well as producing her own curated collection of home textiles and prints.
